Jess McCoy converted a layup off an inbound pass from Jenna Goeller with just over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter to lift Cranford to a 40-39 victory over Holmdel yesterday in Cranford.
Morgan Miller of Cranford led all scorers with 21 points and finished with six blocks, five steals and five rebounds. McCoy totaled 12 points, eight rebounds, six blocks and six steals. Tara Inman had a team-high 16 points for Holmdel.
